The Lake Highlands Women’s League is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote the Lake Highlands area through service and support to the community.  Funding for our efforts comes solely from our annual Holiday in the Highlands Home Tour held each December.  Proceeds are used for college scholarships for Lake Highlands High School seniors, as well as to benefit the Lake Highlands community.  As a part of that effort, we designate funds to be distributed to schools, libraries and other charitable organizations and services within the Lake Highlands area. Applications will be open starting Monday, January 19, 2026 and are due by Friday, February 13, 2026 at 6pm CST.

To be considered for a 2026 LHWL Grant, please fill out the Google Form and note the following:

     - The entity’s primary scope of service should be Lake Highlands.

     - Grant funds must be used during 2026 for the purpose listed on the form.

     - If you are a 501(c)3 organization, you must include your most recent Annual Report and audited financial report.

Our Community Disbursements Committee will review and submit proposals to our general membership in March of 2026. The grant money will be distributed in April 2026. For more information, you may contact our Community Disbursements Chair, Jenny Littlefield at disbursements@lhwl.org.

What an honor and blessing for the LHWL to deliver $66,000 in grants to local schools and organizations for the 2024-2025 year. 13 local LH schools received $45,376, while 12 local non-profit and community partners received $20,624. Thank you to all of our Holiday in the Highlands Home Tour supporters for making it possible!
